Very impolite. Room worn out and in need of renovation. Never go here again.

The price level of the hotel is adapted to the area, but certainly not in terms of furnishings. It is showing its age well cared for. Everything seems a bit loveless. Keys were freely accessible and unsecured ready for collection, anyone could have picked them up ... We wondered that there were no smoke alarms in the room. The lady from the restaurant, which does not belong directly to the hotel, was helpful, nice and open-minded. Breakfast was okay but nothing special. I think it is also due to the Corona circumstances.

This hotel had the charm of a hostel. The rooms were very large, it was clean, but somehow it did not invite to feel good. Upon arrival, our keys were with a note at the front desk, there was no one, we could have addressed. The front desk was not occupied the whole evening. Very nasty We booked triple room (two adults, one girl) and they wanted to give us a double and a single one, also wanting to charge twice as much as agreed, each room separately. When I said that it didn't seem right on top of it, edges were laid. I looked for another hotel in the area.

You get the feeling that the owner isn't happy in his work. Very unfriendly when we called to about our booking. Similarly grumpy when we stayed there 3 years ago. You get the feeling that you are putting him out by staying at his hotel. The rooms themselves are a little tired, but a good size when staying with children. Breakfast ok and the lady who served us was very helpful. But a room and breakfast for 2 adults and a child was €185! I thought it was a mistake. The only redeeming feature was its location near the hall where friends were having a party. That's it. I wouldn't recommend staying there for any other reason. There are much better places to stay.

Great hotel, you get the key on the board looking for your room yourself and is good. But the place right in the hotel where breakfast is also great. But you can sleep well and very good food. Right in the middle of Merzhausen, at the forum.

Clean and well located, but rates communicated by email (2 different) were not correct, in the end the room per night was 20 euros more expensive than previously announced. At complaint owner was canceled.

Receptionist says: good morning who will pay the room? 🤨. 164€ per night without breakfast.

To stay it is OK. Very good are the handicapped accessible rooms. But I'm used to bigger breakfast.

Price level probably adapted to most other hotels, but the price-performance ratio is unfortunately not right. The room size was more than enough and basically everything available, but creaky beds, soundproof walls, cobwebs on the walls and a feeling as would be the most necessary will be made, since apparently enough paying guests are available. For almost 100 euros, without breakfast, absolutely not recommended.
